ystical Crystal Green Cat Candleholder

ome time ago Baron Von Lodge was the head of a small country near Switzerland known as Lilliland.

In one of the guestrooms in Lady Angela’s Alpine Castle, there was a green candleholder. The candleholder was made of dark green, emerald-colored, crystal glass and held one small green candle. Guests were asked not to light the candle except on a special occasion. That occasion, as determined by Lady Angela, was to make a wish under a full moon at midnight. Only then could someone light the candle.

The few times that the candle was lit, the wish often came true. However, there were some conditions that the lighter of the candle was asked to follow. First, it must be at precisely midnight, under a full moon, as previously mentioned. The person then stated the wish. For the next several days, or until the next full moon, the person must agree to say or do something nice for another person, each and every day. At the end of the prescribed time, the person then must light the candle again and state whether they had received the wish requested earlier.

The Baron knew of the mystical powers of the candle and often discussed it with Professor Hamblin, his chief advisor. Lady Angela would also take part in the discussions about the candle in the emerald green crystal cat candleholder.

The Professor said that sometimes, if you believed in something, and it was a relatively simple item or situation, it might be a self-fulfilling prophecy. That is, by your concerted effort, it might come true on its own. The idea of being required to say something nice to someone every day for a month until the time is over, keeps a person in a more optimistic frame of mind. Often when we say something that is sincerely nice to another person, that person often returns the compliment.

By saying something nice to another person, it tends to give a person a more positive outlook, and the negative outlook of the person’s personality tends to diminish.

The Professor concluded that people with a more positive outlook tend to do better than those with a gloom and doom negative outlook.

The final thought was to leave the crystal emerald green cat candleholder in its place as a point of interest.
