rofessor Hamblin's Secrets of Success

aron Von Lodge was the head of a small country known as Lilliland near Switzerland. The time was the early 1900s.

The Baron relied on his chief advisor, Professor Hamblin, for many years. The professor helped the Royal Family make the right decisions at the right time for the betterment of Lilliland.

The Baron asked the professor to prepare some memoirs about his views and experiences on why some people are successful and other people, who should be successful, are not. After over 50 years of professional life, Professor Hamblin came up with three simple reasons that successful people share in common.

Your everyday attitude must be that of a successful person. In other word, be confident about what you are doing.

Success, for the most part, is a result of hard work. Success, in essence, is a habit.

Be sincere. Be known as a sincere person. When you tell people something, they know from previous experiences with you that you really mean what you say and say what you mean.

The professor felt that these were the three things that most successful people shared.

The Baron thanked the professor for his excellent work and his lifelong loyalty to Lilliland.

The Baron shared the list with lady Angela of Alpine Castle who agreed. She added that the one rule for success in life would be the golden rule: Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.

With the fine help of Professor Hamblin, Lilliland's future was in very good hands.
