ritz and Maurice's Bakery

aron Von Lodge was the head of a small country known as Lilliland near Switzerland. The time was the early 1900s.
The Great War had just ended and two soldiers, a Frenchman named Maurice and a German named Fritz wanted to immigrate to Lilliland. They did not know each other since they had fought on opposite sides in the war. They knew that Lilliland was a neutral country like Switzerland and they decided to live in a country that avoids the conflict of war.
But immigration to Lilliland was not easy. Anyone who wished to move to Lilliland and become a citizen first had to have a job. Both Fritz and Maurice had the same job back in their former countries before the war - they were bakers.
Before they met they knew that they might have a problem becoming citizens in Lilliland because they did not have any job offers because they did not know anyone. They met by chance since they arrived in Lilliland the same day and went to the same coffee house to make the same job inquiry.
When they met they hit it off right away and decided to form a partnership, find a sponsor, and open up a bakery. They named the bakery "Fritz and Maurice's Bakery" and it became very popular right away with the citizens. They combined the best baking recipes from France and Germany to develop a unique and very tasty bread, as well as cakes and pastries.
One of their best customers was Lady Angela of Alpine Castle who liked everything so much that every time she had a social event at her castle, she served cakes and pastries from Fritz and Maurice's Bakery of Lilliland. Everyone liked that idea.
