he Wicked Twin Sister

aron Von Lodge was the head of a small country known as Lilliland near Switzerland. The time was the early 1900s.

Twin sisters lived in Lilliland. One of the sisters was quite vivacious. Her name was Alice. The other sister, named Alicia, was very sinister. They dressed alike and very few people in Lilliland knew which was which.

Alice was very popular and every one of the young men in Lilliland wanted to have a date with her. Alicia, on the other hand, even had trouble getting a blind date arranged by a distant relative. This made Alicia very envious of her sister Alice.

Things turned really bad when Alice announced that she was getting engaged at a party for both families. But at the last minute Alice was taken ill and she asked Alicia to go to the engagement party and apologize to everyone for the fact that her sister, Alice, was ill and could not attend.

Alicia went to the party and pretended that she was Alice. She caused such a furor that everyone was embarrassed by her conduct. The engagement was called off and everyone went home angry.

The Baron heard about this unfortunate situation and asked Lady Angela of Alpine Castle if she could suggest anything that he could do to remedy the situation. Lady Angela informed the Baron that Alicia had been doing things like this for some time and that Alice did not want to do anything about it because she loved her twin sister so much in spite of here personality disorder.

The Baron did step in and ordered Alicia to stay away from Lilliland until she learned to be nicer to her sister, Alice. Many years later Alicia returned and apologized to everyone for her poor behavior. She had become a nun in an order of the Sacred Heart in France.
