r. Moose

ome time ago Baron Von Lodge was the head of a small country near Switzerland known as Lilliland.
It was a strange sight to see a moose roaming around the grounds of both Lilliland Castle and Lady Angela’s Alpine Castle as well as along the banks of Lilliland Lake.
Mr. Moose, as he had been called, was found as a very young baby moose, orphaned as the result of an accident along the slopes of the Alpine Mountains. He was raised in the castle stables and perhaps began to think of himself as a colt rather than a moose. He would wander around very much like one of the horses in the Lilliland Stables.
Since there were no guns and no hunting allowed in Lilliland, Mr. Moose enjoyed wandering around without any fear. He would be, by nature, very shy around people and kept mostly to himself.
Mr. Moose would be a treasured prize if hunters were allowed in Lilliland. But since hunters were permitted in neighboring Switzerland, there was some natural concern that he might wander away if he saw a female moose.
For the last few days, Mr. Moose was missing, and Lady Angela was asked if Mr. Moose was seen on her grounds. She said that he had not been seen for several days. She asked that Mr. Moose be declared missing and a search party would look around for him.
Mr. Moose’s tracks were spotted in the snow, and there were some truck tire tracks found where his footprints stopped. Mr. Moose must have been kidnapped.
The Baron became very annoyed because he felt that Mr. Moose might have been taken to a country where he would be shot just for the pair of his beautiful antlers. The search team followed the tire tracks and soon found the truck in the mountains of nearby Switzerland. It appeared that the kidnappers were just about to shoot Mr. Moose for his antlers.
The search team arrived just in time to save Mr. Moose and return him to the Lilliland Castle grounds. A special moose-type collar, bearing a warning that anyone who bothered Mr. Moose would be treated very harshly. In other words, hands off Mr. Moose!
Lady Angela reported that she often looked out her window and watched Mr. Moose by the lake. What a nice way of starting the day in Lilliland, she thought.
