illiland Tea Garden

ome time ago Baron Von Lodge was the head of a small country near Switzerland known as Lilliland.

The reputation of a shop was very important because people told other people about their experiences in a particular shop.

Such a place that was frequently talked about was the Lilliland Tea Garden which was a small area in a florist’s shop in the center of Lilliland. Afternoon tea at the Lilliland Tea Garden was a must for people in-the-know in Lilliland.

The rumor was that if you took tea there, you would surely have a long and healthy life. The rumor was getting a little out of hand because one tearoom is really as good as another and the choice of black or green tea, a favorite of health seekers, was found everywhere.

Lady Angela took Professor Hamblin for tea one afternoon at teatime just to see for themselves why all the fuss about this particular tearoom.

Afterward, during a meeting with the Baron, Lady Angela was told that there was nothing special about the tearoom except for this: the room and the environment was very quiet and calm, the service was friendly, and the biscuits they served with the tea were superb. By having a quiet time during part of the day, it helps a person’s blood pressure be more normal and having tea among friends is always delightful.

So, it was the atmosphere among the flowers in a clam and friendly environment that soothed the nerves and made the day more pleasant.

The black and green teas had been known for years to be a fine healthy drink. The aroma and flavors were superb.

Lady Angela enjoyed the experience so much that the next time she visited the Lilliland Tea Garden she took the Baron along. They both had a good time and the people in the tea garden were pleased and surprised that the royalty of Lilliland also enjoyed their tea and biscuits.

Lady Angela and the Baron often took visiting guests to the Lilliland Tea Garden to add to the enjoyment of visiting Lilliland.
