un’s Secret Bank Account
|
ome time ago Baron Von Lodge was the head of a small country near Switzerland known as Lilliland.
While Sister Patricia was hiding in exile from the terrorists in St. Petersburg, Russia, it was confirmed that the number found in the label of her nun’s black robe was that of a Swiss bank account.
In the meantime, word had reached the Baron through diplomatic channels that the convent in Russia where Sister Patricia had been held captive was totally destroyed. The nuns were all scattered and in hiding. The Bishop of the church feared for the lives and safety of the nuns and requested that they change their identities and go as far away from the convent as they could because their captors wanted them completely gone.
The final word from the Bishop, in code, was to get to American and meet in ten years in Chicago at St. Michael’s Church on Christmas Eve.
When Sister Patricia heard the sad news that the convent was destroyed, but that most of the nuns got away safely, she was both saddened and joyous that the lives of her sisters were saved.
A special trip to a Swiss bank in Zurich was planned. Sister Patricia, in a disguise, with Lady Angela, the Baron and Professor Hamblin, along with a security force from Lilliland Castle, went to the bank to try the secret account number.
When the account number worked, it produced an amount worth several millions of dollars, plus a note. The note was to tell Sister Patricia that the money belonged to her mother and was being held in trust. Since she was a member of the royal Von Lodge family, the money could be used for any purpose that she deemed suitable.
Sister Patricia was overwhelmed with the news. Since there was so much money involved, the bank had to arrange for a special security bank courier to transfer the money to a bank in Lilliland.
Since the Russian terrorists were searching for Sister Patricia, she had some awareness of the huge amount of money involved with her recapture and possible ransom demands, and additional precautions had to be taken at Lady Angela’s Alpine Castle to protect Sister Patricia from any harm.
A few months later, Sister Patricia was trying to decide how to use the money for the common good. She felt that the elderly people could be cherished more and taken better care of, so she established proper housing for the elderly citizens of Lilliland and made them feel like people who should be honored and respected.
