ightseeing Boat Cruise

aron Von Lodge was the head of a small country known as Lilliland near Switzerland. The time was the early 1900s.

On a recent trip to Paris the Baron and his fiancée Lady Angela of Alpine Castle took a sightseeing cruise along the River Seine to see a number of famous points of interest.

When the cruise was over the Baron wondered whether visitors to Lilliland might also enjoy a sightseeing cruise around beautiful Castle Lake. Lady Angela thought that sounded like a good idea since the scenic view from the lake was always breathtaking.

The view of Lilliland Castle against the snow-capped Alpine Mountains was very spectacular. On the lake just a few miles away from Lilliland Castle was Alpine Castle, the home of Lady Angela. Since Castle Lake was so large it would take several hours to complete the cruise. Lunch could be served during the afternoon cruises and dinner at the evening cruises. The cruise could have musical entertainment and could be reserved for clubs and tour groups.

During the cruise, the cruise director could give a brief account of the history of Lilliland and explain some of the rules that make it such a safe and enjoyable place to live and visit.

The following summer, a cruise was announced and it was a success. The people of Lilliland liked to take visiting relatives on the cruise because it was a good time for the entire family.
