iscovering the Fountain of Youth Again

ome time ago Baron Von Lodge was the head of a small country near Switzerland known as Lilliland.

Lilliland was a favorite place for vacationers to ski, sail, hike, and many other activities. But one thing that the vacationers liked to do most was to take pictures. They walked around Lilliland taking pictures of everything. Since Lilliland was a very beautiful place year-round, it was always photogenic.

The tourists especially liked to take pictures of the royals, that is, the Baron and Lady Angela of Alpine Castle.

The Baron asked his chief advisor, Professor Hamblin, about how they could always look good for the tourists so that they would keep coming back year after year.

The basic question the Professor was asked was how to look and feel great all the time.

The answer the Professor gave was to “think and believe that the best times of your life are still to come and that you are just starting to be in the prime of your life.

“People who do not think that way and think just the opposite end up thinking that the best is behind them and from here on it’s all downhill.

“When you look at yourself in the mirror and think that the best is yet to come and that the good times are ahead, you cannot help but smile and step forward into the day’s events with anticipation and confidence.”

So when the vacationers took their pictures with the Baron and Lady Angela, they smiled and felt great and they looked that way when the pictures were developed.

“It cannot be just an act for the public,” added the Professor. “The feelings must be genuine. The individual that truly finds the fountain of youth has to really believe in himself and look forward to the future with great desire and hope.”

The Professor then asked the Baron and Lady Angela what their thoughts were to what he just said.

“Well, it really gives direction and purpose to life and looking to the future with great joy and anticipation,” the Baron said.

Lady Angela said, “With the passing of time, every woman is concerned about how well the years will look on her. Now she is left with the inspiration that she will look and feel better about the passage of time.”
