nniversary of Lilliland
|
ome time ago Baron Von Lodge was the head of a small country near Switzerland known as Lilliland.
The Baron announced that the 1,000-year anniversary of Lilliland would take place on June 1, 1939. Everyone in Lilliland would be invited to participate in the festivities. Dignitaries from other countries around the world would be attending the anniversary. Over a hundred countries would be represented.
All the hotels and rooms would be reserved for the guests attending the anniversary of Lilliland. The Grand Lilliland Hotel would be the center of most of the activities. Lilliland Castle was to be the location of the actual anniversary ceremony. Lady Angela, of Alpine Castle, would make her castle available to attending dignitaries. The Grand Ballroom of the Grand Lilliland Hotel would hold a large banquet and dance.
All of the Von Lodge Royal Family would have a family reunion. The relatives from America, England, Scotland, Switzerland, France, Germany, and other countries would be in attendance. They would all be invited to visit the portraits in Lilliland Castle’s gallery of all the Von Lodge ancestors.
While Lady Angela was not yet married to the Baron, she was considered the official Baroness of Lilliland, but every still referred to her affectionately as Lady Angela. Lady Angela still lived in Alpine Castle where the Baron visited regularly.
The Baron and Lady Angela discussed with all of the visiting dignitaries how important it was for all countries to live in peace and harmony. They felt that this could be achieved by one person helping another person, one family helping another family, one neighborhood helping another neighborhood, one city helping another city, one country helping another country, and one part of the world helping the other part of the world. And this could begin soon, if not today.
