n Official Title for Patricia III
|
ome time ago Baron Von Lodge was the head of a small country near Switzerland known as Lilliland.
Patricia III, a New York and Paris fashion designer, decided to move back to her ancestral home in Lilliland. The home was known as Castle Royale and unoccupied for many years, but under the watchful eyes of a caretaker couple. When Patricia III decided to return, she hired a staff that included a gardener and additional servants. The castle was to be painted and decorated, as well as flowers planted in the castle gardens. The castle would be prepared to welcome a returning mistress of the house.
When a mutual friend of his and Patricia’s asked Professor Hamblin to oversee everything, he was delighted to accept. The Baron and Lady Angela of Alpine Castle were anxious to meet with Patricia upon her return.
Patricia III was born in Lilliland, but when her parents drowned in an ocean liner accident, a relative in New York raised her. There she attended private school and a fashion design college. Patricia later became very successful as a fashion consultant in New York and Paris. While she traveled once a year to her Paris office, she rarely had a chance to do anything else, even though Lilliland was just a few hours outside of Paris.
When Patricia III arrived, she met with Professor Hamblin who informed her that all the deeds and ownership of the castle were clearly in her name and all taxes and bills were up-to-date. But one thing that she had not been informed about was her name.
As the registered owner of Castle Royale, her official title was now Lady Patricia III of Castle Royale.
When she heard her new title for the first time, she thought that it sounded odd because in the United States, royal titles were not used. But in Europe, titles are used all the time in nearly every country.
“I guess I’ll just have to get used to being called Lady Patricia III of Castle Royale. Maybe it doesn’t sound so bad after all.”
Lady Patricia planned to devote her time to preserving the beauty of nature and the protection of wild animals everywhere, as well as continue her fashion consulting business in Paris and New York.
