ady Angela is Missing

aron Von Lodge was the head of a small country known as Lilliland near Switzerland. The time was the early 1900s.
The Baron was engaged to lady Angela of Alpine Castle. Horseback riding was one of Lady Angela's favorite activities. She liked to arise early in the morning and go riding with the Baron.
Today the Baron was away and Lady Angela would have to ride alone on her favorite horse, Daisy. She left the stable at 7 a.m. and told the groom that she would be back at 3 p.m.
Lady Angela was very punctual so when the groom noticed the time to be 4 p.m. he became worried and told the Baron, who had just returned. A search party that was sent out could not find Lady Angela anywhere. Daisy, Lady Angela's horse, had returned during the night but without her rider.
That night the Baron had a strange dream that he was able to have Daisy retrace her steps up to the place where Lady Angela vanished. He knew that he could not do that but he knew that his trusted horse, Ridgeway, sensed he was upset over the loss of Lady Angela. Ridgeway was able to communicate something to Daisy. The Baron then mounted Ridgeway and followed Daisy up the trail that Daisy was on yesterday morning with Lady Angela.
Daisy went up the trail and stopped in a small rest area. Lady Angela was spotted in a small, deep crevice. The Baron pulled her out. She was a bit shaken up but not hurt. They both rode back to the stable. Lady Angela said that when she got off Daisy to give her a rest, she fell into the hidden crevice. Lady Angela was very proud that Daisy came back with the Baron to rescue her. The Baron thought that Ridgeway and Daisy made a good team, as did he and Lady Angela.
