bout Dr. David A. Kopenhaver
Author of the Lilliland Stories

The author in Paris

David A. Kopenhaver, author of the 700 Lilliland stories, has been a university professor, psychologist, television host and producer and writer throughout his career.

He credits his international travel, particularly through the Swiss Alps, as the major inspiration for the Lilliland saga. He found that locale to be the ideal setting and the early 1900s the ideal era.

Those travels recalled for him his affinity for mountainous terrain first experienced as an Eagle Scout camping the Pocono Mountains of eastern Pennsylvania. His love of the outdoors and natural beauty have always been an inspiration.

He has always taken a keen interest in how royal lineage should influence character and thus he created his three main characters, Baron Von Lodge, Lady Angela of Alpine Castle and Professor Hamblin of Cambridge University.

Dr. Kopenhaver's studies have included New York University, Harvard University, the University of Miami and Rutgers University.
